Janet (Begg) Keith is a member of Clan Keith.
James Keith, son of Charles Keith and Katharin Bain, was born about 1810 and baptised in Watten, Caithness, on 16 July 1810.[1]
James Keith, resident of North Watten, married Janet Begg, resident of Kirk in the parish of Bower, Caithness, on 18 October 1839. The marriage is recorded in the parish registers of Watten and Bower. Banns were read 27 September 1839.[2]
In 1851 Janet was living in North Watten with her husband James and children James, Catherine, Charles, Janet, Henry and Donald. Two visitors, Mary Lyall and her son John McDonald, were also visiting the Keith family on the day of the census (see James's profile for links to these profiles). James Keith's trade was "crofter".[3]
