Biography
Thomas was born in 1846, son of Thomas Bayley and Harriet Turner. [1] His mother died when he was only a couple of months old and his father remarried to Charlotte Readett.
In the 1851 census Thomas (age 1) was living with his father, stepmother, older sister, 2 servants and a visiting baptist minister in Nottingham St Mary, Nottinghamshire, England. his father was a farmer and felmonger. [2]
Thomas, son of Tho Bayley, married Annie Mary Farmer on 29 July 1874 in Lenton, Priory, Nottinghamshire, England.[3]
In the 1881 census Thomas (age 34), Leather Merchant Etc, was the married head of household in Cavendish Crescent North Cavendish Lodge, Standard Hill and Limits of Nottingham Castle, Nottinghamshire, England.[4]
Thomas served as a Member of Parliament for the Liberal Party from 1892.
He passed away in 1906. [5]
