John was born 1802-1803 based on Census age and death age. A possible baptism is for a John Balch on 30 Jan 1803 to James and Elizabeth Balch at All Saints, Martock, Somerset County Somerset ^[1]

John Baulch, batchelor and Sarah Bishop, spinster were married by Banns on 28 Aug 1828 at Long Sutton, Somerset. Both of Long Sutton. Witnesses: William Hodges & Wm Mitchell.^[2]
