Charlie died on November 27, 1944 in Precinct 1, McLennan, Texas and he was buried in November 30th in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.^[3]

Research Notes

• On his death certificate Charlie's year of birth was given as 1870 which is NOT correct according to all the Census documents. The year of 1857 used in his bio is an average of the various Census years which go from 1854 to 1860.

• His parents' names were given as Flander and Huldy Baty.
