Mildred Mary Batty was born on October 28, 1919 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom[1]. When she was born her father, George Batty, was 30 and her mother, Jennie Wright, was 28[2].

Mildred, aged 8, immigrated on 18 September 1928 from England, United Kingdom to Brisbane, Australia[3]

Mildred (-77) married John Spain Callaghan (-77) (born on December 13, 1919 in Queensland, Australia; son of James Patrick Callaghan and Ethel Mary (Spain) Callaghan) on January 23, 1943 in Fortitude Valley, Queensland, Australia[4].

Mildred died on October 22, 2017 in Queensland, Australia, aged 97. She was buried in Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium, Bridgeman Downs, Brisbane City, Queensland.[1]

Mother of Therese (dec'd), Elizabeth, Tony, Helen, Frank, Maria, Paul and Joe. Grandmother, Great-grandmother.
