OBITUARY. On Wednesday, June 4th, another old settler passed away, Mr. Joseph Batt, of Vine Cottage, Jarrahdale, having died at the ripe old age of 85. He was an old colonist, and leaves a large family and circle of friends to mourn his loss. The funeral, which took place on the following day, was largely attended, and proceeded to Pinjarrah cemetery where the remains were laid.
