Biography

Robert was born 4 Oct 1903 in Latheron, Scotland.[1]

Robert married Elizabeth Budge 1933 in Wick..[2]

Robert was a Private serving with Seaforth Highlanders (Ros-shire Buggs, Duke of Albany's) Infanty 5th Battalion in the MIddle East when he died and was included in the UK Army Roll of Honour. His Regimental Number was 2815707. [3]

Private Robert R Bain died on 14 November 1942 and was buried in El Alamein, Maṭrūḥ, Egypt.[4] He may have did on board SS Scillin. [5][6]
