Nancy Bailey Bailey was born in 1837 in Salford. She was the daughter of David Bayley and Charlotte (Massey) Bayley. She was christened on 6 Aug 1837 at St Elphin's Church in Warrington. Her father's occupation was given as labourer, and the family's address as Manchester.
By June 6th 1841, David and Charlotte were living in Cow Lane, Salford with their three children John (aged 14), Nancy (3) and baby Peter (8 months). David's occupation was recorded as wat[er] man.
