In his Will, dated 19 Dec 1702, Rowland Aynsworth of London, Knight, requested to be buried in the Parish Church of St Michael Bassishaw.
He mentioned his wife Dame Ellinor Aynsworth, eldest son Robert Aynsworth, daughter Anne Aynsworth.
