Biography
Rowland Aynsworth was born about 1656.
He passed away about 1702 and was buried at Saint Michael, Bassinshaw. "Here Lyeth the body of Sir Rowland Aynsworth, knight, who departed this life the 14th January, 1702, in the 48th year of his Age."[1]
In his Will, dated 19 Dec 1702, Rowland Aynsworth of London, Knight, requested to be buried in the Parish Church of St Michael Bassishaw.
He mentioned his wife Dame Ellinor Aynsworth, eldest son Robert Aynsworth, daughter Anne Aynsworth.
Father in law Sir John Fleet, Knight, alderman of the city of London.
Friend Mr Henry Kelsey of London, Lynnen Draper.
