He married Joanna Rose, daughter of Thomas Rose and Hannah Allyn, on 3 June 1698/99 at Preston, New London Co., Connecticut, New England. [2]
He died in March 1759 at Groton, New London Co., Connecticut, New England. He was buried at on his farm in Groton.[2]
