William was married to Sarah Adams. [1]
1860 Maine Census, Austin William, 23, 1837; Sarah J., 23, 1837; George G., 1/12, 1860; Austin, Charles, 19, 1841,. William was a shoemaker, PE Charles a shoe apprentice.
William Austin died before 1880. 1880 Maine Census lists his wife Sarah (widowed) and 2 children living with her father John Adams.
