Biography
Caleb was born about 1811.
Caleb married Anne Cox on 21 June 1831 in Uplyme, Devon, England.[1]
1841 Census - Age 30 Married to Ann, living in "House at Woodhouse" Uplyme Devon with their 5 children, working as a Lime burner. The next house in the census (House at Highton) has the records for his parents, James and Sarah. With James and Sarah are living what appears to be Caleb's twin or brother John with his wife Eliza and kids. Also living in Highton House are Stephen and Ann Fowler and two men who I assume are their two sons Robert and Henry, are living in Woodhouse.
1851 Census - Age 39 still with Ann, still in Woodhouse with 5 of their children and 2 of their nieces. His parents James and Sarah are once again, the next household in the census, "Hoyton Hill".
1861 Census - Age 50 still with Ann, living in "Woolcomb Hill Cottage". They still have 5 kids living with them, but these are younger, not the original bunch.
1871 Census - Age 59 still with Ann, back at "Woodhouse Hill Cot" only two children still at home.
He passed away about 1887.[2]
