Biography
Born in Upper Canada & moved with his family to Mecosta County Michigan in the 1850's. Married Amelia Harrington in 1858, but she apparently didn't live very long, as Aaron remarries in 1861 to Mary Gillmore.
One of the earliest settlers of Mecosta County, Austin Township was named in his honor.
