The daughter of Benjamin Augustine and Sarah (Morningstar) Augustine, Maggie Augustine was born in Arkona Township, in Huron County, in 1870.[1] In 1871, her family lived in Bosanquet Township.[2] By 1881, they had moved to Ashfield Township.[3][4]
Maggie married Thomas Walker, the son of James Walker and Sarah Jane McBride, marrying in Ashfield Township on February 12, 1895[5] and having one son together. Maggie and her family made their home in Oxford, Ontario.[6] Her husband worked for the railroad and by 1911, they lived in Thunder Bay.[7] In 1921, they lived in Port Arthur City.[8]
Maggie Walker passed away at the age of 74[citation needed] and is buried with her family at Dungannon Cemetery in Dungannon, Canada.[9]
