Biography
George Nicholas Augustine was a coal miner, and never married. He lived with the family of Elmer Smith and his wife the former Marcella Augustine in his later years. Apparently, he drank a lot, and one night he did not get drunk and got hit by a car trying to cross a busy road near the Smith home.
