Joseph Arch was an English politician, who played a key role in what Karl Marx called the "Great awakening" of the agricultural workers in 1872.
Joseph was born in 1826.[1] He was the son of John, a shephard, and Hannah.[2] He married Mary Ann Mills in 1847.[3]
Joseph was Member of Parliament for North West Norfolk from 1885-1886 and 1892-1900
After Mary Ann passed away Joseph remarried to Miriam Blomfield, daughter of John David Blomfield, in 1899.[4][5] Joseph passed away in 1919.[6]
