Biography

Francis was born in 1883. He was the son of James Arbuthnot and May Taylor.

Francis was a Trooper with the Commander in Chief's Bodyguard, a colonial unit of the Boer War of 1899-1902.

He died in 1905 at the age of about 22, unmarried, as the result of being struck by a fall of earth in a Quarry.^[2]
