Biography

Jens Antonsen was born at Langved on 03 Oct 1841 and was baptized at Innvik on 09 Oct 1841.^[1] He was living at Skoden in 1865.^[2] Jens immigated to the United States leaving from Bergen and sailing for Quebec on 03 May 1868.^[3] He settled in Crawford County, Wisconsin where he was sometimes known as John and used both Antonson and Langve as surnames. Jens married Ingeborg Olsdatter Rosenwater on 13 Aug 1872.^[4] They lived in Utica.^[5][6][7] Jens died in Nov 1913 and was buried in Utica Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mount Sterling.^[8]
