Biography

Marcus E. Andrus, son of John and Hanna and John Andrus was born in 1897.

Marcus came to Canada with his parents in 1907. By 1916, the family were farming in township 13, range 21 in the Bow River district of Alberta. Marcus' occupation then was farm labourer. ^[1] In 1921, Marcus lived with his family and with them farmed the East 1/2 of section 3, township 14, range 23 at Champion, Alberta. ^[2]

Marcus E. Andrus and Lisle M. Connolly were married in 1923 in Lethbridge, Alberta. ^[3]

Marcus was named in the death certificate of his daughter Lillian. ^[4]

Marcus Earl Andrus died 9 Aug 1973 (aged 75–76) in Calgary and was buried in Queens Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. ^[5]
