Biography
Bertha Elizabeth Andrist, daughter of Henry Andrist and Mary Ellen (Lay) (Harris) Andrist, was born on 1 Sep. 1866 in Williams County, Ohio.[1]
She married Glen Vernon "Roy" Shock, son of Levi Shock and Susan A. Gophert, on 8 May 1904 in Defiance County, Ohio.[1]
She and Roy appeared on the census of 23 April 1910 in the home of her parents at Defiance Ward 2, Defiance, Ohio.[2]
Bertha died on 19 Sep. 1957 in Beaverton, Gladwin County, Michigan and was buried at Beaverton City Cemetery, Beaverton, Gladwin County, Michigan. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone shared with Roy, a copy of her obituary and links to those of family members.[1]
