Content Andrews was born on 24 Feb 1756, in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut Colony. She was the daughter of Enos Andrews and Content Curtiss.^[1]

Content married Henry Brooks, Jr. on 5 Feb 1775, in New Cheshire Parish, Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut Colony.^[2] They had 12 children, all born in Wallingford or, from 1780, in Cheshire:^[3]
