He married Elizabeth Nash before 1858 and they had six children including: George, William, Charles, Franklin and Sarah. His professions were : Day H (1960)[2], Sawyer (1865), Farmer (1870)[3], lumberman (1875)[4], stone mason (1892)[5], and machinist (1900).[6] Once Peter retired, he and Elizabeth moved with their son William to Angelica.[7]
He passed away in 1913 and was buried in Forest Hills Cemetery, Belmont, Allegany County, New York.[8]
