John & William baptized same day, to Simon (labourer) & Jane ANDREWS of Huatoki. Ceremony performed by William Bolland (date needs re-checking, 4th or 14th?)

DNA

The link from William to ancestral couple Simon ANDREWS/Jane GIBSON is confirmed (at least) by a fully triangulated segment of DNA on chr 10 from 20-30 mbp which is shared by a descendant from each of three lines down from Simon and Jane, those of their children: Sarah (Gedmatch T201716), William (Gedmatch T137208)) and Fred (Gedmatch A476005);
Another segment on chr 10 from around 55 - 80 mpb matches a descendant of William, along with three descendants of William's brother Gib, namely Lorna and two of her maternal aunts, Gedmatch IDs T087062, T944145 and T989771 respectively.
