Biography
Graduated as MD from Northwestern University in 1899, became Superintendent of Work for Women, in Wiley Hospital, Kucheng, China.
In the 1880 census Gertrude (age 8) was the daughter of Alvia Andres in Sidney, Fremont, Iowa, United States.[1]
Gertrude, daughter of Alvah Andres & Amanda Vanpelk, married Walter Batcheller on 5 March 1900 in Madison, Dane, Wisconsin, United States.[2]
Sarah's son Clarence Merrill Batcheller was born on 31 May 1907 in Madison, Dane, Wisconsin, United States.[3]
In the 1920 census Gertrude (age 45) was the widowed head of household in Dane, Wisconsin, United States.[4]
Gertrude's daughter Helen Batcheller married Gordon W Bouskill on 21 October 1927 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, Iowa, United States.[5][6]
Andres's daughter Helen Gertrude Bouskill died on 13 February 1996 in Butte, California, United States.[7]
