Biography

Bernard was born in 1912. He was the son of Joseph Andreas and Rosala Luster.[1] He lived with his parents and siblings in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan in 1921.[2]

Barney emigrated to the United States about 1922. He lived with his parents and siblings in Eaton Rapids, Eaton, Michigan in 1930.[3] The same year, he lived with his brother, Peter, in a boarding house in Bunker Hill, Ingham, Michigan in 1930, where he was a farm labourer.[4] He lived in Springport, Jackson, Michigan in 1940.[5]

Bernard fought during WWII, enlisting in 1942 and being discharged in 1945.

Bernard married Dorothy J Cook on 3 Dec 1949 in Lansing, Ingham, Michigan.[6][7]

Bernard passed away in 1976.[8][9]
