William Alcherson, son of Alexander Alcherson and Jane Doull, was born about 1814 and was baptised in Watten, Caithness, on 26 April 1814.[1]
William had a younger brother of the same name who was baptised in 1820 - this would imply the child born in 1814 died as an infant.
