Biography
Andrew was born in 1836. He was the son of Andrew Allan and Agnes Clunie.

Andrew emigrated from England to New Zealand with his mother and sister Florence in 1841.
He married Annie Honey Malyon on 23 September 1862. They had two sons; Alan Leslie (b. 1863) and Clunie Montgomery (b. 1864). Sadly she died soon after the birth of their second child.
He married, secondly, Matilda Catherine Dampier on 31 October 1865 at Rangiora, Canterbury, New Zealand. They appear to have had no children.
His wife Matilda passed away in 1901.
He passed away in 1902 at the age of 64.
