Biography
Birth
Alfred was a son of William Addison and Rosetta Toye and was born in New Zealand in 1889.[1]

- NEW CORONER - APPOINTMENT MADE
- MR.ALFRED ADDISON - To fill a vacancy caused by the retirement of Mr. F. K. Hunt, who was city coroner for many years, Mr. Alfred Addison, the well known Auckland barrister and solicitor, has been appointed by the Minister of Justice. Well fitted to hold this important position, Mr. Addison who was born at Thames, has been engaged in law since 1914 and has practiced on his own account since 1920. It is probable that he will be sworn in next week and will commence his new duties immediately. Mr. Addison, while fulfilling the functions of coroner, will continue the practice of his profession.
