Digory Ackerley was born on 6 Feb 1861 in Glamorgan District, Tasmania, Australia. He was the son of William Thomas Miller (Ackerley) Ackerly and Mary Jane (Martin) Ackerly. [1]
Digory died on 31 Dec 1868 in Spring Bay, Tasmania, aged just 7 years, accidently drowned whilst bathing in a water hole. [2]
