Jane ODell Married to Thomas Roe the Sister of Caleb ODell?

Question

Thomas Rowe/Roe and Jane O'Dell are my great-great grandparents through my maternal grandfather. I have not finished verifying my parent's research, but they have Thomas' wife Jane O'Dell as the sister of [[Odell-2602|Caleb O'Dell]] both the Children of Isaac O'Dell, Jr. & Nancy Hutchings. The parents of Isaac being Isaac O'Dell and Abigail Maxwell (my parents had her maiden name as Mansfield, but I don't know their source for that.)

I believe that the two Janes are separate individuals. I do not have more than a year of birth for Caleb of about 1808 from my parents, so more digging is needed to clarify.

While searching for online death certificates, I found all the Roes in Ray County, MO who died after 1909. When the children of Thomas and Jane died, the informants all said her name was Jennie. My parents must have gotten Jane from the 1850 census. They only have Thomas and Jane having only one marriage each, to each other.

A cousin's tree on ancestry lists her as Jane "Janie" Roe. So maybe the recorder of the Death Certificate thought respondent said Jennie.

I just went to the Missouri Death Certificates 1910-1972 and put in the surname Roe. All the results are my relations.
