Hans Heinrich Ziegler war ein Schmied, der 1700 Haus und Hof des 1699 verstorbenen Adam Marschausen in Großbodungen kaufte. Am 30. Januar 1700 heiratete er die Hoferbin Anna Maria Marschausen, mit der er sieben Kinder hatte:
- Johann Michael (1700-1770)
- Anna Margaretha (1703-1760)
- Sabina Catharina (geb. 1705)
- Eleonore Catharina (1708-1787), später verh. Schröter
- Johann Augustin (1711-1757)
- Susanna Dorothea (geb. 1716), später verh. Bundfuss
- Johann Georg (1719-1782)
Hans Heinrich starb am 1. Mai 1760 und wurde am 4. Mai in Großbodungen beerdigt.
