Joseph became a member of the LDS Church between 1830 - 1848.

Joseph Angell Young was born in 1834 in Kirtland, Geauga, Ohio, United States. He was the son of Brigham Young and Mary Ann Angell.[1]

He married Ann Ayers.

He married Clara Stenhouse in 1867.[2]

He died 5 August 1875[3] in Manti, Sanpete, Utah, United States.
