Biography
Amanda (Wren) Eggleston is a part of US Black heritage.
Amanda was born in 1877 in Texas. She was the daughter of Alexander Wren and Charlotte Manning. In 1880 she was living with her parents and siblings in Kendall County, Texas.[1]
Amanda married Joe Eggleston in Kerr County, Texas in 1899.[2] In 1910 they were living in Kerrville, Texas with 5 children.[3]
She passed away in 1921 in Taylor, Williamson County, Texas.[4] She was buried in the family cemetery in Boerne, Texas that her parents had established on their homestead.[5]
