Biography
William E was born about 1840 in Germany.
William E married Elizabeth Brozard (or Bouyard) Her father was French and mother German.
in 1870 William (29) and Elizabeth (20) are living in St Louis.[1] In the same Kups House are Lena Bouyard (58) born Bavaria and 25 year old John Bouyard born Maryland. Possibly Elizabeth's mother and brother. Also at the same address are John Darcil (35) born France, Mary J Darcil (33) born Maryland and Virginia Darcil (5) born Missouri. Could be related.
In 1880 William E and Elizabeth and children, Matilda, Charles E, Maud V, Cora E, and May Virginia are living in St Louis, Missouri.[2]
William Edward Winter died from Gunshot round to the head. He was a Liquer store dealer. [3]. Sounds tragic.
Research notes
- A William Edward Henck married a Miss Elizabeth Brizard in St Louis in 1867, might just be coincidental, otherwise I cannot find a marriage record for them.
- Elizabeth's maiden name stated in the death certificate for their daughter Lelia (otherwise Layla or Cecilia) Baker.
