Biography

Ida was born on 23 August 1893, the daughter of John Samuel James Williams (1865 - 1958) and Jessie Nicoll (Vincent) Williams (1863 - 1944). Her birth was registered in Edmonton in 1893.^[1][2][3]

1901 Census on the 31st March 1901 Ida was living at Avondale Road West Side, Tottenham, Middlesex, England with her parents John and Jessie, and her siblings Frank, Amy and Eric.^[4]

1911 Census on the 2nd April 1911 Ida was living in Wood Green, Hornsey, Middlesex, England with her parents John and Jessie, and her siblings Frank, Amy, Percy, Eric, Norah, Edward and Margaret.^[5]

Ida married Arthur Henry Griffith (1887 - 1975) and the marriage was registered in the 3rd quarter 1915 in Islington, Middlesex.^[6]

In the 1921 census Ida (age 27), Home Duties, was the wife of Arthur Henry Griffith at 4 Earlham Grove, Wood Green, Middlesex, England.^[7]

1939 National Register on the 29th September 1939 Ida was living at 2 Warrington Gardens, Hornchurch, Essex with her husband Arthur and their children Brenda, Leonard and Margaret shown as Rita.^[8][9]

Ida died aged 96 and her death was registered in the 4th quarter 1989 in Birmingham, Warwickshire.^[10][11]
