Biography

Jennett Ann WILLIAMS [twin(?) - see Research Notes] was born 25 Jan 1845 v. 25 Jun 1843 in Sampson v. Wade, Cumberland, North Carolina, v. Virginia,^[1] United States. Her widowed father, Robert Williams, is shown in the 1900 census in the marital household of his daughter (son-in-law John A Jackson), with a birthplace of North Carolina, however.^[2] This 1900 census shows a precision month of Jun, 1843 as her birthdate.

She was the wife of John A Jackson.^[3] Children:

• Robert and Margret Williams's [alleged twin] daughter Catherine (Williams) Culbreth, born 5 Jan 1845, was buried on 26 Nov 1931 in North Carolina, United States.^[4] Note that the 1850 census and others show different birth years, however. See for example: In the 1850 census Jennet Williams (age 7) was in Sampson, North Carolina, United States.^[1] - In the 1850 census Katharine Williams (age 4) was in Sampson, North Carolina, United States.^[1] This same census shows both parents being born in Virginia.
