Is there a source for William's birth that shows his parents? The Warren Silver Book does not show him as a child of Phineas Warren. (Mayflower Families Through Five Generations, Silver Books, Volume Eighteen, Part 2, The Descendants of Richard Warren Through His Children Mary, Anna, and Elizabeth, 2011 Edition, Published 2016, Page 320)
Thanks Sandra, for the question. I believe I relied on FindAGrave's indication, altho it is not clear how that was sourced. Not that it would give any more credence, but the user-generated profile on FamilySearch.org also references FindAGrave and has the same parents: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/MNT5-WHG
I've changed the status of these parents to "uncertain," pending determination of a better source for this info, or else a decision to detach William from this family.
