Dorcas (______) Riddlesdale was buried in Assington, Suffolk, England, 24 Sep 1624[1]
She and John were married probably at Assington about 1583.[1]
On 3 January 1613/14, John & Dorcas Riddlesdale sold a ten acre close, two others of five acres and one of two acres to John Gryme the elder of Assington and his wife Faith for £120. All were pasture and lying in Assington. On the same day, Dorcas Riddlesdale released her interest in land leased in June 1555 by John and Robert Gurdon for 500 years to John Vigorus the younger, clothier of Langham, Essex, England.[2] Perhaps John Vigorus was Dorcas' grandfather?

Dec. 1665, Ipswich, MA), who had married first Martha Sheldrake daughter of John and Joan Sheldrake. Research Notes
A few people have already suggested that Dorcas should be detached as a child of Henry Black (1532-) and Anne Irons Black (1536-). This suggestion is now over 6 years old. I have added sources to the profile for Henry Black (1532-), which previously was unsourced. I find no evidence for the assertion that Henry and Anne were parents of Dorcas, or that her surname is known. Since this has been pending for awhile and sources have not been found, I have added these Research Notes and detached these parents. DLG 13 Dec 2022

I have no idea what the source for Black is. It was like that when I merged them ie. Black or Riddlesdale (I knew Riddlesdale wasn't correct.) I did not look to see if Black was correct.
