D C Brown at age 8, in 1900, was listed as a nephew in the household of his aunt Cora Greene and her husband Major J. Greene. D C Brown was b Sept 1892. Cora Greene was age 28, b Apr 1872. Their children were Ivy, Singleton and Geroboam. Another nephew was Jas Brazan or Brogan, age 13.[5]Beat 4, Claiborne, Mississippi.
Cora Greene in 1910 was age 38 in Beat 4, Claiborne, Mississippi. Her mother Elvy Thomas was age 62, b Mississippi. Husband was Major J Greene, age 44. Daughter Iva was age 15; son Singleton J Greene was age 14; son Jehorane M Greene was age 10; son Howard Greene was age 8; daughter Rebecca was age 6; Bertha Greene was age 4; daughter Effie May was age 2.[6]
