  • Divorce 10 APR 1918, Iberville Parish, LA, U.S.A. 21st Judicial District Court, suit #2206, Iberville Parish Clerk of Court Plaquemine, LA. Petition for divorce filed by Peter Hill 12 Dec 1917. Testified 10 June 1918. Says they were married in Iberville Parish 6 Feb 1904 and lived together until 1911. They had 5 children together. In the fall 1911, she confessed that she committed adultery with Ike Williams. She left and never returned. The children remained with Peter. Louis Hill, Peter's brother, and Willie Scott, not related, testified. Judgment of final divorce granted 10 Apr 1918. Peter was given custody of the children.
