Of Clayworth, Nottinghamshire, formerly of Carlton, late of Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. She was described by her nephew, Rev Richard Taylor, as "a great beauty."
She was born Elizabeth Taylor and had the distinction of marrying two brothers named Taylor.
Elizabeth Taylor was born on 29 June 1767. She was baptised on 6 August 1767 at Carlton in Lindrick.
She married two brothers with the family name Taylor, not related to her Taylor family.
On 6 April 1792 at Carlton in Lindrick, she married 1ly William Taylor, of Cuckney, Nottinghamshire, with issue five children. Her brother Thomas was a Witness. Her husband died after April 1817.
After 1817 she married 2ly her 1st husband's brother, Thomas Taylor, of Cuckney, without issue.

2 Mary Ann Taylor (1798-1873).
3 Richard Taylor (1801-1845).

She may or may not have been the Elizabeth Taylor who was buried on 9 April 1848, aged 81, at Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
Rev Richard Taylor stated her second husband was named Thomas Taylor.
