Jonathan was born Jonathan Taylor on 1 August 1819 Denby Dale, Yorkshire & baptised Jonathan Taylor on 29 August 1819 Cumberworth, Wesleyan Chapel, Yorkshire the 5th son of William Taylor & Ann Mallinson of Denby Dale. ^{[1] [2]}
