Biography
Catherine was born in 1783. She marred Jacob Rhodes in1804 in Bedford PA. She passed away in 1864 and iis buried at Slifer Cemetery, Farmersville, Montgomery, Ohio.[1]
Catherine is the daughter of a Jacob Smith born in c. 1745-1755 unknown location. Mary Agnesa (Klappert) Smith born 1752 Woodbury Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Jacob Smith died in 1794 in Woodbury Township. [2] in Agnes married second Philip Herman Knee in Pennsylvania and they moved with her minor Smith children to Randolph Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, United States where Dayton is today. She and Philip had no children together. Each having raised large families before they married.

Susannah (a minor child listed last on the Orphans’ Court plea) the only mention I have seen outside of that source is a tree that says her birth was in Nov, seven months after her father died, and in the same year her brother David was born. Amounts to nonsense. Deceased was given as date of death. No source.
