Biography

Harriet was born in 1818, the daughter of Alexander Shuttleworth and Joanna Unknown.

On the 11 October 1847, Harriet Shuttleworth married William West at St. Mary's, Whitechapel, Middlesex, England.^[1]

At the time of the England and Wales Census, 1861, Harriet was living at Mark Bridge. The family members present were:

Albert Puddy, Head, M, age 42, birth place Mark, Somerset; Harriet West, Concubine, F, age 40, birth place N K; Harriet West, Daughter, F, age 10, birth place Mark, Somerset; Eliza West, Daughter, F, age 5, birth place Mark, Somerset; Jane West, Daughter, F, age 3, birth place Mark, Somerset.^[2]

On the 19 July 1864, Harriet West nee Shuttleworth married Albert Puddy in Mark, Somerset, England.^[3]
