Biography

Phillip was born about 1816 in South Carolina, USA. [1] He married Martha Ann Moore Abt 1847 in Kemper, Mississippi, USA. [2] He served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War as a Private in the Alabama, Company D, 20th Infantry. [3] He registered to vote in 1867 in Smith County, Texas, USA. [4] He passed away of Colic in March 1870 in Omen (Old Canton), Smith, Texas, USA. [5] [6] He was buried probably on the farm in Omen (Old Canton), Texas, USA with no marker.[7]
