I am researching François Hébert, son of Jean Hébert and Marie Anne Doucet, married to Anne Bourg, we know that in 1755 he was living in Tintamarre (Beaubassin region) and that he was deported to Georgia without his family. Several ships left for Georgia in the fall of 1755. According to Wiki tree you have found that he died in Louisiana. No burial record or census was cited. Are you able to provide any light on Francois Hebert's migration information from Georgia to Louisiana and specifically where. I have read various books ie: Paul Delaney, Ronnie Gilles LeBlanc and Stephen White, the latter as indicated that he may have ended up in Thibodeaux or St James Parish.

Any information on Francois would greatly appreciated.

Hi Karen, I tried to "grab" all the orphaned or neglected Theriot and Girouard profiles starting in 2014. I know we share a lot of Theriot ancestors, so if you want to help manage any profiles, just request to be on the trusted list. Definitely you should manage your closest relatives and several generations up. Best regards.
