Biography
Note that this was not Sarah Potter, daughter of Nicholas who was born in Salem on 4 Oct 1662 as that would have made her 12 and a half years old at marriage.[1] This Sarah Potter's origins are not yet known.
Ann South-1336 names a Sarah Farrington and calls her alias Potter to have all right and interest in the upland lying near that of Robert Potter and Thomas Newhall, which Ann's father South had given to Ann. [2]
Sarah married Matthew Farrington (sic Farrendine) 28 Apr 1675 at Charlestown, Suffolk, Massachusetts.[3][4]

- Sarah Farrington Goddard (1675–1676)
- Martha Farrington (1679–1760)
- Samuel Farrington (1681–1720)
- Joseph Farrington (1686–1747). (1)
Sarah "Farrington", wife of Matthew died 19 Sep 1687 at Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts.[5]
Per FindAGrave she is buried at the Western Burial Ground , Lynn Essex County Massachusetts but note that the memorial is unsourced and there is no photo of a headstone or marker. [6]

Might you have a reliable source showing that Matthew's first wife was the daughter of Nicholas Potter?
The child list of Nicholas Potter (bef.1604-1677) includes entry for Sarah, saying she was "b. 4 Oct 1662; d. Lynn 29 Sep 1688 unm."
If the information on the profile is out of date, would you be so kind as to add a profile comment so that we may further collaborate and resolve the conflict?
In the mean time, I plan to mark her parentage as uncertain and will post a note on the linked father's profile.
