Biography

Mary Potter was born in Oct. 1897 at Pennsylvania, USA. She appeared on the census of 7 June 1900 in the household of her parents, Amos C. Potter and Julia Aner (Baxter) Potter, at Thompson, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania.^[1] She appeared on the census of 13 May 1910 in the household of her parents at Thompson, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania.^[2] She appeared on the census of 16 Jan. 1920 in the household of her parents at Thompson, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania.^[3] She appeared on the census of 16 April 1930 in the household of her parents at Jackson, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania.^[4]

She was in attendance when Marshall Forrest was host of the Baxter Family Reunion held on 19 Aug. 1951 at near Coventry, New York. She was in attendance when Earl Hunt was the host of the Baxter Renion on 17 Aug 1952 at Harpursville, Broome Co., New York. She was in attendance when Fayette L. Smith and Sara E. (Forrest) Smith were were hosts of the eighth annual reunion of the descendants of Nathan Baxter Jr. and his wife Anna Dodge, held at their home on 21 August 1955 at Bainbridge, Chenango County, New York. She was in attendance when Kenneth Richard Tweedie and Marion Joan Schaeffer were hosts of the 9th Annual Baxter Family Reunion held at their home on 19 Aug. 1956 at Roscoe, Sullivan Co., New York.

She lived with her mother, Julia Aner Baxter, in 1957 at Harford Township, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania. She was in attendance when Henry S. Schaeffer and Ethel M. Baxter were hosts of Tenth annual reunion of the descendants of Nathan Baxter Jr. and his wife Anna Dodge, held at their home on 18 Aug. 1957 at East Branch, Delaware Co., New York. She was in attendance when Maurice Clark hosted the Baxter Reunion in Aug. 1958 at Oxford, Chenango Co., New York.

She lived in 1984 at Harford, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania. Mary died in March 1985 at age 87.^[5] Mary did not marry and did not have any children.
