Parker-27029 and Parker-3883 appear to represent the same person because: These men have the same spouses and death locations and match this pedigree.https://archive.org/details/pedigreesofcount02fost

The more recent profile has a more detailed bio. The earlier profile has a birthplace and date which don't match those in the bio (and only Brownholme I can find is in Lancashire not Wiltshire. The mother linked to the earlier profile is not evidenced.

Parker-27029 and Parker-3883 are not ready to be merged because: conflicting details, including parents, need to be tidied

It has now been two months since this post. I am reproposing the merge and would ask someone else to take on the responsibilty.

Parker-27029 and Parker-3883 appear to represent the same person because: same wives per biography, birth needs validation as well as parents

Parker-27029 and Parker-3883 are not ready to be merged because: It looks as though there are two separate men, and someone has conflated them in later life. What are your thoughts?

Not sure how you came to that conclusion. Park-3883 indicates that the birth shown is incorrect and why it is incorrect, there is no source for the mother shown, sources indicate they are the same person.

As the lead of the Arborist project, you are the person that set these as unmerged matches, and the guidelines indicate that this means you will be working the issue, what is you plan? Let me know, as these profiles have sat as unmerged matches for a long time.

Browsholme is in Lancashire, not Wiltshire. https://browsholme.com/. This was the home of this man

EDIT missed an important NOT ( not home of this man) It was the home of a different Parker family.

According to the cited pedigree this man was of Little Norton, Lancashire and baptised in Norton in 1575. This matches the Freereg reference on profile.

According to the pedigree he was the son of John Parker and Cecily also of Little Norton.

I don't see any evidence for the parents of this John Parker; the alleged parents lived in another county.
