Emily (Packer) Scown was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)
Emily Packer, daughter of Frederick Packer & Agnes Allen, was born on 16 December 1882 in Mundulla, Wellington, South Australia.

Emily (age 23, daughter of Frederick Packer) married Ernest Albert Scown (age 24, son of Richard Scown) on 5 September 1906 in the Methodist Church, Mundalla, Wellington, South Australia.

Their marriage was reported in the Evening Journal (Adelaide, SA : 1869 - 1912), Thu 20 Sep 1906, Page 1[3]
SCOWN—PACKER.—On the 5th September, at the Mundalla Methodist Church, by the Rev. S. Clark Murford, Albert E., youngest son of R. Scown, of Cannawigra, to Emily, second surviving daughter of F. Parker, Waltham Farm, Mundalla.
Emily Scown (widow of Ernest Albert Scown) died on 8 November 1953, aged 70 years, in Bordertown, Robe, South Australia.
